Will it translate Malayalam to English?
No. We never translate. You get the Malayalam captions exactly as YouTube has them. If you want English, keep the default: English captions are used when the video has them.
Why does Excel show boxes instead of Malayalam letters?
Our CSV and Excel files are saved in UTF-8 and show Malayalam correctly in Excel and Google Sheets. If you paste text into another program, make sure that program uses a font with Malayalam letters.
