Why use Free YT Bulk Transcripts

Hangul, never romanised

We never translate or transliterate. The text stays in Hangul exactly as the captions have it, not rewritten in English letters.

Timed lines for study

Download as SRT or VTT with timestamps to follow along with the video line by line, which is how most people use these for language practice.

No captions, no charge

Korean videos without any captions are skipped and cost 0 credits.

Whole channels and playlists

On paid plans paste a Korean channel or playlist and collect up to 250 videos per run.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download the transcript of a Korean YouTube video?

Yes, when the video has Korean captions. Choose Korean in the Captions menu (the button on this page does it for you), paste the link and get the text in Hangul.

Will it translate Korean to English, or give me romanisation?

Neither. We never translate or transliterate. You get the Korean captions exactly as YouTube has them. If you want English, keep the default: English captions are used when the video has them.

Can I use this for language study?

Yes, and SRT or VTT is usually the better download for that, because each line keeps its timestamp so you can follow the video as you read.

Can I get transcripts of a whole Korean channel?

Yes, on paid plans. Paste the channel link, keep Korean selected, and get up to 250 videos per run; videos without captions cost nothing.

Is it free?

Your first 10 videos each day are free without an account. A free account adds 25 free credits and downloads; credit packs start at $4.99 for 650 transcripts.
