Can I download the transcript of a Bengali YouTube video?
Yes, when the video has Bengali captions. Choose Bengali in the Captions menu (the button on this page does it for you), paste the link and get the text in Bangla script.
Will it translate Bengali to English?
No. We never translate. You get the Bengali captions exactly as YouTube has them. If you want English, keep the default: English captions are used when the video has them.
Why does Excel show boxes instead of Bengali letters?
Our CSV and Excel files are saved in UTF-8 and show Bengali correctly in Excel and Google Sheets. If you paste text into another program, make sure that program uses a font with Bengali letters.
Can I get transcripts of a whole Bengali channel?
